Banquet's Hearty One Boneless Pork Ribs

Yes, you read that packaging right. With as fattening as TV dinners have traditionally been, one might think that the crack advertising team at Banquet would hide the fact that consumers would be eating A POUND of food somewhere alongside the nutrition facts. Well as far as I can guess the reason for this is that Banquet figures if someone is buying a TV dinner they have already given up on the concept of dieting long ago. So let's look at what we get for the small sacrifice of our health.


Upon initial inspection, the meal looks like some uncharted area of Hoth. Just the thought of eating it makes me want to cling to Master Yoda.


However, following a meeting with Mr. Microwave (A damn fine fellow by the way) things are looking up. Indeed as far as one pound TV dinners go Banquet's offering of pork ribs is not a bad find at all. The corn even stays in its place unlike those meddlesome peas found in similar TV dinners. Sure, some of the sauce spills out and mixes with the mashed potatoes, but without anything else remotely resembling gravy in this meal you've got to take what you can get.
